I was born on one of the 7,641 islands of the Philippines. Fortunate to have survived the island’s predators, I managed to get a computer science degree and eventually marry the love of my life. I still live on the same island with my wife and our perpetual-motion sausage dog.
I have worked in various odd jobs, including writing regurgitated nonsense for news publications and peddling life insurance. Lately, I have shifted my focus on writing about made-up worlds and people that not so long ago only lived in my mind. I’m a huge science fiction nerd. Warhammer, Mass Effect, books, video games—anything involving aliens, quantum computers, and massive black holes gets my blood pumping.
I recently released my first book, called The Alcuin Rift. The story is a blend of hard science fiction and space exploration, and first contact with extra-dimensional beings. I am planning to publish more stories based on my morning shower daydreams and regular staring-into-the-void sessions.
I am committed to improving my writing skills, which is a challenge given that he is mastering a language that is not my first.
